This Winter, a number of movies are hitting theaters looking to capture audiences and Academy Awards. Here are the movies we can’t wait to see when we’re at the mall doing all our Christmas shopping… The Soloist (November 21)
The Road (November 26)Less than two months away from its release, The Road has received a lot of buzz without even having a trailer. Based on the novel by Cormac McCarthy (whose last novel, No Country for Old Men, was adapted by the Coen brothers, who ended up winning four Oscars, including Best Picture and Best Adapted Screenplay), The Road stars Viggo Mortensen and Charlize Theron. It’s a post-apocalyptic movie about a man and his son on a long journey through wasteland in hopes of finding safety and rescue. Frost/Nixon (December 5)
Doubt (December 12)
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (December 19)
